Well, it's been a while since I posted anything on here. I'm getting anxious for Spring Break...my apartment could use a good cleaning!
This has been a very informative semester for me in terms of learning uses for technology in the classroom. In addition to this course, I am taking an English Teaching course called "Teaching Oral Language and Media Literacy." So, for the media literacy part of the course, we have looked at and talked over a lot of websites that can be used for classroom enrichment. Though I grew up during the time when computers were becoming commonplace in every home, I still feel somewhat behind when I look at what's available to us today. And yet, these teaching courses are great for getting familiar with what's out there and learning about technologies that are new to us.
It's a grand adventure, is it not?
